In 2021, I looked around for quotations to replace the roof on my house. All roofers were busy at this time and some didn’t bother to quote but Richard discussed various options with us that the others hadn’t and so we decided that he was the man for the job. Due to various factors and a shortage of tiles, we decided to wait until Spring of 2022. I contacted Richard in January to book the work for this year but there were and still are issues with obtaining tiles. Richard ordered them straight away and advised that there could be a six month wait for them. We were happy to wait and Richard kept me posted throughout as to potential start dates. Richard contacted me to give me a date for the work to start – 18th July – which was when we had the extremely hot weather so some adjustment was made and that was all good with us. We had our chimney taken down to just below roof level, roof replaced with clay tiles and seamless guttering erected. Richard, Jack and Billy worked hard through the heatwave starting at 7:30am most mornings. They got the job done so much quicker than we had expected and cleaned up each day. They told us what they would be doing each day and were always courteous and respectful of our property. We now have a lovely leak free roof which looks great and will last our lifetime at least. It looks so nice that my neighbour has decided to have his done too. I would not hesitate to recommend Allweather Roofing (Herts) Ltd.
